Sierra College hosted an Introductory Reading Apprenticeship Workshop for ESL. ESL educators convened to learn how the RA Framework and Routines can be used to apprentice English Language Learners, and they engaged in rich discussion of teaching and learning to help our students find greater success. Also, special thanks to Susan Gaer and Tiffany Ingle who presented via Zoom videoconferencing to showcase how they are utilizing RA in their ESL courses. The NCLN looks forward to continued dialogue about RA in ESL courses and further discussions about discipline-specific RA applications.
